The purpose of these rules is to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Section 1: Responsibilities
Article 1
Under no circumstances can the organizer be held responsible for any damage, loss or theft
of goods brought by participants (including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.), nor for any damage
caused to other participants, and in the event of anti-piracy checks. Any material damage caused to a
third party by a participant must be repaired financially by that participant.
Article 2
The organizer can in no way be held responsible for the actions of participants.
Article 3
The organizer reserves the right to take legal action against any player who causes material
damage during the event.
Article 4
The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the LAN for reasons beyond its control.
Section 2: Access to the event and activities
Article 5
Any person wishing to register for the event must formally indicate at the time of
registration whether he/she is prone to epileptic seizures, loss of consciousness or any other health
problem that could prove risky for participation. In the event of a health problem, or suspicion of a
health problem, the organizer reserves the right to remove the participant from the event, or to set
up a medical device at the participant's expense.
Article 6
You certify that the information given to the organizer is correct.
Article 7
Visitors are not allowed on the site between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. for the duration of the
event.
Article 8
Players and visitors agree to respect the minimum age required by the various games during
the event. The organizer declines all responsibility in the event of infringement.
Article 9
Minors will be accepted under the responsibility of their parents (written authorization) or
accompanied by a legal representative taking part in the event.
Article 10
Animals are not permitted within the event grounds.
Section 3: Restrictions, Prohibitions and Obligations
Article 11
The use of any audio system (loudspeaker, subwoofer, etc.) is forbidden; only headphones
are permitted.
Article 12
Glass bottles are forbidden in the building, and any bottle found will be confiscated and
destroyed.
Article 13
It is strictly forbidden to use electrical appliances other than your PC and monitor (inverter,
fan, kettle, fondue cooking machine, etc.).
Article 14
It is forbidden to tamper with the electrical or computer network. In the event of
problems, please ask the organizer for assistance.
Article 15
Any attempt to saturate the network, hacking, theft or any other inappropriate behaviour
will result in the expulsion of the person(s) concerned.
Article 16
Any form of promotion for an association, company or entity other than representation on
clothing is forbidden without the authorisation of the organizer. The association reserves the right to
confiscate any unwanted promotional material.
Article 17
It is forbidden to bring one's own chair to the event; a chair will be provided for each
player. In the event of a health problem requiring a special chair, the committee must be notified,
and proof of this need must be provided. If the proof is deemed sufficient, the applicant may bring
his or her own chair.
Article 18
Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is strictly prohibited throughout the building, as is
the use or possession of any kind of drug, including low-THC cannabis. Alcohol is permitted, but hard
liquor and alcopops are prohibited. Anyone found to be intoxicated or under the influence of
narcotics disrupting the smooth running of the event may be expelled from the LAN.
Article 19
By participating, you agree not to participate in any form of computer piracy. You are
responsible for the digital content of your discs and equipment.
Article 20
The sale or exchange of any protected content is prohibited.
Article 21
Each participant must possess the licenses for all games and software as well as the
operating system installed on his/her computer. We remind you that piracy is punishable by law.
Article 22
It is forbidden to use racist, abusive or defamatory language during the event. This also
applies to team and roster names, as well as to any data publicly accessible via PolyLAN. The
committee reserves the right to request a name change or to block users who contravene this rule.
Article 23
There may be a maximum of one manager per roster at any one event.
Article 24
It is forbidden to register for the event with more than one account per person.
Article 25
If a player's place is paid for by another person, the player remains the owner of the place
and can do what he likes with it. In the event of a dispute, it is the responsibility of both parties to
resolve the problem. The organizer does not intervene in the conflict.
Article 26
Tournament winners must collect their prizes at the official prize-giving ceremony. In the
event of absence at this time, the participant(s) concerned will not be able to claim any prizes. Prizes
will be redistributed to other participants at the ceremony or at a subsequent event.
Section 4: Other
Article 27
The organizers reserve the right to expel, without financial compensation, any person
failing to comply with these rules, disrupting the event or for any other reason deemed sufficient by
the organizer.
Article 28
Any dispute not resolved by these rules is left to the discretion of the organizer. The
organizer reserves the right to take all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running and safety
of the event.
Article 29
In addition to these regulations, participants and visitors must respect the rules of the
venue.
Article 30
The French version shall prevail.
