On this page you'll find some additional information about registration for PolyLAN 39, from Thursday, May 09 to Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Pre-registration does not automatically validate a place: only payment validates your place. If you try to pay for your pre-registration when the event is full, you will not be able to complete the payment.

Tournaments

For those taking part in a team-based e-sport tournament, it's only possible to pay for your place if you're part of a team and a locked roster. More details on how to join a roster are available in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8DPtdA9I30

Rosters with [the_number_of_people_necessary_for_the_game - 1] paid people are validated (e.g. 4 people for LoL, 2 for RL). Or, in other words, rosters missing a maximum of 1 person are validated.

Validated rosters will then necessarily have a place in the tournament. Team members who have not yet had the opportunity to pay should contact us via the contact form on the PolyLAN website.

After the deadline displayed on the homepage, non-valid team members will be transferred to animation without reimbursement of the CHF 5 cash-prize participation fee.

We reserve the right to modify the maximum number of participants and/or teams in a tournament. This frequently happens in order to adapt to the number of people wishing to participate.

Payment & prizes

This year we're reintroducing a progressive pricing system, to encourage you to register as soon as possible, as we need to be sure we can make the LAN as quickly as possible. For the same reason, we're opening registration much earlier than usual. Prices start at the same level as last year, and will increase as the event approaches.

When paying, it is possible to pay for more than one person. /!\ Attention /!\: the place does not belong to the person who paid, but to the person to whom the place is allocated. See this video for more details on how to pay for several people https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6TiPQmJknU

Seat management

For people choosing the standard package, it's important to join a team, as this guarantees that you'll automatically be placed side-by-side. People who are not part of a team will be placed together.

Those wishing an additional place can select the "double place" pack when registering. /!\ Please note: this additional place cannot be resold separately from the basic registration. /!\

If the event is sold out and you haven't yet been able to secure a place, you should pay particular attention to the ticket exchange. If you can no longer attend the event, you can sell your seat on this page (https://polylan.ch/ticketstrader/). The exchange also allows you to transfer your place to another person: the person reselling his or her place is free to choose to whom he or she wishes to sell it.
