Great news: registrations for PolyLAN 41 will open this evening, 1 February, at 6pm!
The LAN will take place from 29 May to 1 June at Beaulieu, with 5 tournaments and over 60 events, organised 100% by volunteers.
Here are the different tournaments that will be taking place (the explanation of the different tiers is right here):
With the recent release of Marvel Rivals and the buzz surrounding the game, we've decided to make it a major tournament, and we hope to see many of you there! Unfortunately, PolyGaming won't be taking place this year.
However, it's difficult to organise a tournament if we don't have enough participants. That's why if after 30 March a tier 1 tournament doesn't have at least 8 teams registered, it will move to tier 2, allowing us to run a tournament at a time slot more suited to the number of teams. That's when we'll be able to announce the cash prizes.
As far as prizes are concerned, there will be no early birds this year. What's more, there's now a single price for the LAN, regardless of whether you're taking part in a tournament or in the entertainment: CHF 120 (CHF 80 for students). Seats are more expensive than last year, mainly because we're taking large tables (one seat is 90 x 80 cm).
The earlier you register, the more it helps us. So, like last year, we'll be increasing the price of our tickets as the LAN approaches. The first increase will take place on 30 March, and the second on 30 April.
We're also offering you the chance to order a LAN T-shirt, as well as a mouse pad (also available in an XL version this year!). The deadline for ordering these (which you do when you register) is 14 April, so no stock will be taken.
We apologise for the delay in registration, and hope to see many of you on 29 May.
See you in LAN!
